Team Leeds is about what we can achieve when people and organisations across Leeds work together.

It brings together communities, businesses, voluntary and community organisations, public services and other partners to share ideas, resources and expertise and tackle the challenges that matter most to our city.

It's more than a partnership. It's a way of working together. Everyone has a part to play.

Ways of working

Our Ways of Working bring Team Leeds partners together around a shared approach to creating a better Leeds. They complement the values of individual organisations and provide a common framework for how we work together. They shape our partnerships, strengthen collaboration and help us achieve greater impact for the people and communities of Leeds.

Everything we do is underpinned by a commitment to tackling systemic injustice and advancing equality, diversity and inclusion.

Expanding on work to shift power to people so they can make the positive changes they want to see, strengthening prevention, promoting inclusion and enabling communities to thrive in places they love.

Listening and communicating with compassion to focus on what people can do not what they can’t, supported by better integration and co-ordination of services in our communities.

Creating social value

Encouraging every business and organisation to be an active part of Team Leeds by seeking to enhance their civic and social impact, contribute to the city and connect with their local community and nature.

Being evidence informed

Making best use of data, research, technology and best practice from around the world to learn what matters most to people and focus on what works.

Making it happen

Harnessing the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, partnership ethos and ‘get it done’ attitude of Leeds, prioritising actions over words and delivering what we say we will.
